There are a couple of frequent small geysers and a couple of large very infrequent geysers here but. At least 10 active or potentially active vents are present. Black Sand Basin is actually part of the Upper Geyser basin. All of Grey Bulger's vents are located in or around the "top" of the J-shaped pool. Grey Bulger Geyser is a single geyser, which erupts out of multiple vents, which depending on the seasonal water table, erupt either continuously or intermittently. Both geysers are part of the Black Warrior Group which includes Artesia Geyser and Steady Geyser. Back Basin Trail is a 1.75-mile loop passing numerous hot springs and geysers.

You’ll have to get quite lucky to see Steamboat at full strength, as the geyser can go 50 years between major eruptions. Young Hopeful Geyser and Grey Bulger Geyser are two separate geysers that share the same pool in the Lower Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States.
